Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordination and communication throughout the project integration to all project team members
- Management of RIS/PACS implementation process including order review, project planning, resource scheduling and coordination, site specific system configuration design, equipment scheduling
- Manage day to day operation of PACS equipment including image workflow, archiving, routing, pre-fetching, correcting broken studies, editing patient demographics, HIS/EMR (IC-Chart)/RIS interface
- Document and communicate specific issues identified by clinical users with respect to service issues, updates, progress and resolution
- Escalate and be an advocate for customer support, issues, and problems
- Initiate switchover to system and/or component backup procedures as necessary and report any system or component failures to manufacturer/tech support as necessary, coordinating resolution to issues
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly routine maintenance procedures as required
- Perform backup/disaster recovery procedures, including off site storage of data as required
- Support application programmers and end user groups and communicate any requests for moves, additions and changes to the system.
- Monitor clinical workflow procedures and make recommendations for improvement
- Conduct system/component training
- Serve as PACS liaison to other departments
- Attends required meetings and participate in committees as requested
- Participates in staff development and educational activities
- Maintains strictest confidentiality
- Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Licensed Radiology Technologist
- 4 years in healthcare information technology
- 2 years of project management experience, working with customers, vendors and leading cross-functional teams
