What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Travel Nurse position at Optum?
We have immediate nationwide openings for ICU registered nurses. Make up to $6500 week (Depending on the city, housing and benefits you want to pursue)
Start Date: Immediate Start
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess a patient’s condition to plan and implement patient care plans

Treat wounds and provide advanced life support

Assist physicians in performing procedures
-
Observe and record patient vital signs
-
Ensure that ventilators, monitors, and other types of medical equipment function properly
-
Administer intravenous fluids and medications
-
Order diagnostic tests and collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team
-
Respond to life-saving situations, using nursing standards and protocols for treatment

Act as a patient advocate while providing education and support to patients and their families
QUALIFICATIONS

Active Registered Nurse license in the specified state.

RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program.
-
BLS and all relevant specialty/department-specific certifications required.

One year of experience in the specialty within the last three years in a hospital setting as a RN.
