Role and Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator will work with our HR Manager to support our employees and leadership in our new location in Costa Mesa, CA. This role is an integral part of our Employee Experience team and will help us drive company growth while ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with all applicable laws and industry standards. Responsibilities will include:
- Act as a first point of contact for employees and direct to the appropriate individuals (Supervisors, Management, HR Manager)
- Prepare Incident Reports/Reports of Injury for workers compensation and works with team to manage WC claims
- Prepare Company responses to Unemployment claims, with assistance from HR Manager as required
- Present information on Company policies and procedures to new hire classes (in field locations)
- Data entry and reporting within HRIS
- Maintain paperless employee files
- May require limited travel
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School diploma required
- 1-2 years of Human Resources experience with a working understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent data entry skills
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to develop presentations and deliver to groups
- Intellectual curiosity with a drive to deliver solutions
- Self-motivated, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Skills
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
