As a Bartender, you play a dual role at ORA with equal prioritization. You must be a master of our beverage offerings, running an organized station with high throughput, and producing consistent cocktails to precise specifications. And while you are focused on this task of technical discipline, you must also be a master of hospitality, anticipating the needs of every bar guest, ensuriung that each guest leaves with a positive, lasting memory of their time with us. As a member of our service team you will also be responsible to create a positive work culture, by personally exemplifying our core values internally with all colleagues.
Responsibilities Include...
- Beverage Inventory Management, Bar Prep and Daily Cleaning Tasks
- Cocktail execution to spec and a vast knowledge of classic and neo-classic cocktail preparation
- Learning, and maintaining knowledge of all product offerings with a deep understanding of all ingredients and preparations
- Consistently following fine dining steps of service with urgency, authenticity and warmth
- Being the voice of our guests with service team colleagues, management, and the kitchen team
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance for yourself and the restaurant
- An eagerness to continue to learn and grow
The right candidate will have...
- 2 or more years experience as a Bartender in a fine dining, high-volume restaurant
- English fluency. Additional languages preferred, but not required
- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a high-pressure work environment.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in using POS systems
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
