Job Duties: Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning. May telecommute. (385.30149)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Site Reliability Developer-related occupation.
Position requires:
- In depth knowledge of full technological stack in a complex, multi-platform environment including compute, storage, networking, and identity name services;
- Operational experience in Enterprise storage platforms including SAN and NAS, and specifically with Oracle ZFS Storage Appliances;
- Designing, Installing and Configuring Oracle Databases;
- Developing user facing APEX applications;
- Expertise in Devops tooling, specifically Python, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins;
- Development using CI/CD pipelines and GIT;
- Developing and deploying monitoring schemas using Prometheus and Grafana;
- Deploying and Configuring Highly Available and Scalable Applications in OCI;
- Building Data Pipelines from On-Premises and OCI for Migration; and
- Deploying and Maintaining ZFS Storage Infrastructure on OCI.
