Job Description
As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
Responsibilities
This System Engineer job is aligned to a mission-critical team, meaning they touch several solutions and systems. The System Engineer role is a client facing, entry-level support job in Support Services, Global Health Organization. This is a non-billable role that will be working with clients to support the exchange of clinical and financial level data items across multiple systems. This role is responsible to provide system implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Oracle Cerner's solutions and services.
This person will provide system implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Cerner's solutions and services and perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware/OS upgrades, and resource optimization. This hire will directly support client activity and will be billable/revenue generating and be a key player in the support of Oracle Cerner clients. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting and require knowledge in SQL, C , JAVA, and Linux. System Engineers routinely query data, use basic Linux commands to navigate the filesystem for network items, capture logging, and perform high-level CCL scripting.

California Pay Range: from $26.59 to $51.73 per hour; from $55,300 to $107,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $25.10 to $46.59 per hour; from $52,200 to $96,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $25.10 to $49.18 per hour; from $52,200 to $102,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $28.08 to $49.18 per hour; from $58,400 to $102,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
