Within Oracle’s health division, we are addressing the most complex health care challenges by creating products and technologies that allow healthcare professionals to provide the best patient care possible. In this position, you will join Oracle Health’s global User Experience department of about 90 UX professionals across the globe consisting of UX and UI designers, human factors researchers, UX strategists, project managers, and more.
In this position, you will be aligned to work with a smaller, interdisciplinary UX team of about 5-8 people to provide support to our Real-Time Health Systems product portfolio. This portfolio consists of various products, all aligned to ensure hospital systems have real-time data concerning their staffing and operations.
As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will primarily be responsible for creating meaningful and safe experiences for our users that align with our internal design standards and industry best-practices. You’ll be responsible for working with our product managers to understand our users’ goals and challenges, collaborate with product, UX, and engineering stakeholders as you iterate on design concepts, create wireframes, mockups, and/or prototypes.
Oracle Health’s UX department also has a team of highly skilled human factors researchers. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with this research team using their findings and insights to guide, inform, and validate the designs and experiences you create.

Primary responsibilities:
· Develop high-level wireframes, detailed mockups, and/or prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
· Collaborate with UX leaders, product leaders, and engineering stakeholders to iterate on design concepts to deliver the highest-quality experience
· Participate in design critiques where you will receive and give design feedback focusing on improving the design quality of our team and the products we support.
· Create design specifications that align with internal design standards
· Collaborate with our human factors researchers to obtain research validation on your designs (usability tests, user interviews, etc)
· Advocate and design accessibly for all users of the health care system, with different backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
· Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Industrial Design, Graphic/Visual Design or a design-related field, or equivalent work experience
· Online Portfolio
· Working knowledge of user-centered design and research methods (including, but not limited to prototyping, usability testing, contextual inquiry, user observation, and surveying)
· Experience designing a product, end-to-end, from concept to launch
· 5 years professional experience in UX Design or related field
· Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe, or similar
Preferred
· Experience with using Figma and FigJam
· Knowledge of accessibility principles and how to design for them
· Knowledge of health care
