Human Resources is seeking team members to join the Outreach and Recruitment Team (ORT) in support of the Authority’s efforts to reach a broader and diverse candidate pool.
Outreach Team Members will engage in targeted diversity recruitment, attend community events, identify potential firefighter trainee candidates, engage one-on-one with potential candidates, provide information, and support throughout the firefighter trainee selection process, and serve as a mentor during the on-boarding process.
Outreach Team Member – Outreach, recruitment, marketing, coaching, training, and/or mentorship experience is desirable. The ability to serve on a long-term basis to the program is a plus.
Compensation - Team members will be compensated at their currently hourly rate. Overtime will be paid at the appropriate rate if applicable.

Highly Desired Qualification:
- Bilingual speaking skills (English and one of the following languages: Spanish, Farsi, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, Urdu, Hindi, Tagalog or American Sign Language)
