Job Details
Our Gaming team is looking for a data analyst who will work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems. In this role, you will assist in identifying business trends, quantifying the size of potential opportunities, and analyzing the Play ecosystem to help the broader product team deepen its understanding of the business and the player ecosystem. You will apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the organization of data to better understand the Play ecosystem, and assist in monitoring of key product metrics to understand trends and investigate changes.
The main function of a data analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. A typical database analyst/programmer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- ETL.
Skills:
- Review existing databases and database management systems and direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
- Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate the time and cost required to accomplish the project.
- Pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Investigation of changes in business metrics.
Top 3 must-have Hard skills:
- SQL.
- Data ETL, pipelines.
- Experience in business intelligence.
- 4 years of experience, Bachelor's degree.
Good to have skills:
- Knowledge of the gaming industry.
- Experience diagnosing metric movement in complex ecosystems.

- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
