Job Overview
The Studio Manager leads the studio in all aspects of membership retention, employee development, and achieving sales quotas. They directly supervise team members including, Sales Associates, Coaches, and Head Coach. The Studio Manager will be responsible for the hiring and onboarding of team members; planning, and assigning daily, weekly, and monthly goals, providing excellent customer service and directing work tasks. The Studio Manager will manage all aspects of the employee life cycle with continuous coaching, annual performance reviews and by providing rewards and recognition to high performers. The Studio Manager reports to the Regional Sales and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Hires, trains, and schedules all studio sales staff
- Manages, develops, and evaluates the performance of all Orangetheory Fitness sales and trains staff for continued success and future growth
- Regularly attends training, bringing lessons learned back to sales staff for implementation. Regular attendance to OTF fitness classes, a minimum of 2 visits per week.
- Manages daily operations including client and staff concerns of a fast-paced fitness studio
- Works directly with Head Coach to increase studio utilization and workout traffic
- Promotes the studio and brand through social media efforts by directing staff to participate in campaigns
- Has regular cadence of meetings and trainings with team to ensure continued development, and completion of goals
- Executes and coordinates company’s marketing and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)
- Manages any disciplinary actions involving Orangetheory Fitness studio employees
- Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI’s), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll and facilities maintenance
- Meets or exceeds personal sales goal as well as studio total goal
- Acts as brand ambassador for community engagement, lead generation, civic networking and collaboration

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have at least 3 years sales experience, customer service or comparable experience.
- Prior Orangetheory Fitness work experience a plus
- Prior leadership experience is a plus
Work Conditions
- Frequent walking and standing inside and outside of the studio.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including on weekends and holidays as directed by business needs.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from multiple office locations and studios
