Studio & Fitness Manager
Job Overview
The Studio & Fitness Manager (SFTM) will lead all aspects of sales, member attrition & retention, fitness programming, and utilization. This role will lead the tactical studio sales & operational needs of the studio. The Studio & Fitness Manager will oversee the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and talent management of the sales & fitness team. This Full-Time Exempt role will report to the Regional Sales and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- • Oversee the daily sales, performance, utilization, and operational needs of the studios.
- • Lead a maximum of 6-10 Orangetheory Fitness group training classes per week.
- • Set, monitor, and report studio KPIs daily. Develop sales performance action plan to accomplish the key performance indicators (KPI) in areas of sales, revenue, utilization, membership, and attrition.
- • Generate sales leads through various operational initiatives, outreach tools and campaigns.
- • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance, and development of sales and fitness staff.
- • Lead weekly studio team meetings to ensure organizational efficiencies, goal planning, staff development, template rollout, equipment maintenance, and class scheduling.
- • Coordinate, lead, and participate in weekly/monthly regional meetings, corporate events, and workshops to include 90 to 90 Fitness Coach Evaluations, Open mic auditions.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with peers, Head Coach, Regional Leaders, and corporate teams which include Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and Business Support Services.
- • Maintain the cleanliness, upkeep, and functional efficiency of equipment of the studio facility; support will include cleaning and/or assistance from facility contractors.
- • OTF Brand Ambassador for community engagement, civic networking, and collaborative initiatives. Executes and coordinates company’s marketing and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach)
- • Maintain inventory and tracking of all studio equipment, shipments, and retail merchandise to include apparel, heart rate monitors, accessories, and other devices.
- • This role requires work as the business requires, which may include weekends and holidays.

Education & Experience
- • High school diploma or equivalent.
- • Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- • 1-2 years of Orangetheory Fitness sales & fitness experience a plus.
- • 3 years of experience in retail or direct sales management/lead generation work settings OR group fitness/personal training environments.
- • Valid fitness certification from ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, or AFFA.
- • Valid CPR/AED certification.
