Communications Project Manager
Reporting to the Global Head of Brand Marketing and Communications on Orbia’s global marketing communications team, the Communications Project Manager will drive alignment, buy-in and delivery of content-centric campaigns that bring the Orbia story to life for internal and external stakeholders. The Communications Project Manager is responsible for defining and driving strategic project planning and tracking with partners by establishing joint goals, setting up and facilitating working sessions and reviews and actively contributing to producing deliverables to drive awareness of our company’s purpose and solutions and create meaningful experiences for Orbia’s key audiences.
The ideal candidate for this fast-paced role is self-directed, organized and a skilled creator, with a knack for understanding company and business requirements, sound judgment and technical capabilities to plan and implement solutions, and a service-oriented approach in working with and representing the team’s work to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
This candidate brings a proven track record of building and leading the launch of marketing and communications campaigns that drive impact and get results. Main Purpose and Responsibilities
Planning, producing and organizing multichannel and multimedia campaigns, working across internal teams and partners in Orbia’s six businesses and functions.
Establish and document project management standards, processes and metrics and train internal colleagues on project management best practices.
Candidate sets expectations, managing risks, rallying teams, tracking progress and reporting to executives on key initiatives and projects as well as partner with subject matter experts and project leads across the company to produce strategic plans, schedules, deliverable release cadences and KPIs.
Manages and update content and information on Orbia.com, inclusive of template and page creation within an Episerver CMS environment.
Gathers and share performance data and contribute to campaign and projects’ reporting and analytics.
Supports end-to-end production including refining content for multiple channels, updating HTML, setting up/editing multiple assets within a deployment process, recommending and/or refining audience segmentation, managing translations, conducting pre-deployment production checks and successfully deploying assets (via email, Teams and virtual meeting platforms, Orbia website and intranet, social channels). You’ll plug in and support your marketing communications colleagues in creating and deploying key deliverables—exercising copywriting, social media content creation, digital content management and/or multimedia production skills.
Models an owner’s mindset and hold team members accountable in ways that are respectful and uphold Orbia’s standards.
Knowledge/Education/Experience
5-7 years of experience as a successful communications project manager, or digital producer in a dynamic environment, preferably a creative agency or startup
Experience with CRMs, CMSes, knowledge management and Microsoft software/platforms is ideal.
Strong collaborator who can drive a project strategy and roadmap and execute key deliverables.
Proven track record of building and leading the launch of marketing and communications campaigns that drive impact and get results.
Strong technical background with a proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
Proactive and biased to action: you learn quickly, work independently and take ownership of open issues.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with copywriting, digital development and/or multimedia production experience desired
Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Spanish language skills desirable
