The individual in this role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, appealing, and safe meals to students and staff in accordance with dietary guidelines, school policies, and health regulations. The ideal individual will have a passion for cooking, an understanding of child nutrition, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay for this position is posted at $16.00 per hour.

The Campus Cook will be scheduled to work Monday - Friday from 8:00a - 5:00p.

What you will do

• Prepare the morning, noon and evening meals following a standard menu plan and standard serving times
• Maintain food production records according to regulatory standards and procedures
• Participate in training of dietary personnel including youth kitchen helpers

• Degree in Culinary Arts or two years food service experience
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets agency guidelines
