Orchard Village is looking for responsible, caring, and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. A DSP helps clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you can make a profound impact on someone's life.
These positions have a varied weekly schedule and do not have a specific house assignment; instead s/he will be assigned where most needed.
All applicants must have:
~ a driver's license with a clean driving record
~ a high school diploma, GED, or evaluated foreign degree
~ a clear criminal background (or DPH waiver)
~ no lifting restrictions
~ Must be flexible and have reliable transportation
~ Must be a DSP on the Healthcare Worker Registry
~ Open shift availability required
~ Overtime available
Responsibilities include:
A typical day includes meal preparation, housekeeping, hygiene, and working on goals.
