The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for the development, oversight and implementation of strategies that maintain and improve facilities operations and guest experience related to maintenance, custodial, safety and security, mailroom and parking operations at our Water Ave museum, buildings across the OMSI campus, and in two remote locations (Newport and Fossil, OR).
The position manages and professionally develops teams to achieve OMSI's goals. The position is responsible for ensuring that all facilities are safe, well-maintained environments that enhance the overall OMSI guest experience alongside achieving OMSI's sustainability goals.
Collaborating with teams across the organization, the position will support OMSI's strategic objectives and values with a focus on staff development, cultural competency, guest relations management, and leveraging data to achieve financial and sustainability goals.
Position is eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:
- 2 weeks of vacation per year with no waiting period. Hours carry over year to year up to 200 hours.
- 2 weeks of sick time per year with no waiting period. Hours carry over year to year up to 520 hours.
