Supply Chain Coordinator I MRO


BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION:

Under limited supervision, responsibilities include releasing purchase orders to suppliers for 100% of indirect material, expedition of orders from suppliers. Duties also include ensuring availability of all non-production related materials.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Primary Task (40%) – Scheduling/Planning Burn Table (Cut List)
    • Determine orders that are required to be scheduled on the next cut list
    • Create Cut list and distribute
    • Create packets, print, collate and distribute
    • Communicate with Burn Table operators, Leads, and Supervisors for burn table requirements


  • Second Task (30%) – Ordering/monitoring MRO items
    • Keep accurate reporting of paint, tooling, gases and welding wire usage.
    • Responsible for ordering in safety consumables.
    • Communicate daily with maintenance to review needs and make adjustments.
    • Maintain valid pricing.
    • Review supplier acknowledgements for items were supplier promise dates disagree with our required date. Work with suppliers to get dates in agreement.
    • Work with suppliers to expedite and resolve receipt errors and discrepancies and resolve open PO issues


  • Third Task (15%) –
    Perform Administrative Functions
    • Run, sort, and distribute reports
    • Generate purchase orders or release requirements to suppliers via phone fax or internet
    • Print labels and manuals
    • Maintain spreadsheets logging communication notes from suppliers
    • Responsible for correcting receipt errors and invoicing discrepancies


  • Fourth Task (15%) – Monitor Inventory Levels
    • Monitor product lot sizes, safety stock levels, and Kanban quantities
    • Conduct product cycle counts
    • Manage store room items


  • Communication and Documentation
    • Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents

EDUCATION: High school diploma required


EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree preferred
  • 1-5 years in production control desired
