YOUR ROLE: This sales role is all about finding new opportunities, networking and business development. This position is responsible for contacting dispensaries and getting them to purchase our new products directly. This position will be utilizing data lists to actively pursue deal making with key decision makers. This position will be measuring sales results while effectively communicating and working closely with the marketing and executive team.
Job Responsibilities:
Contacting retailers by any means necessary to engage them directly with our new products
Contacting distributors by any means necessary and negotiating product purchases.
Networking with distributors to establish high level relationships with key decision makers
Carrying out field visits locally and nationally to negotiate deals on our behalf
Attending trade shows and attracting new business and relationships.
Updating and maintaining contact details within our CRM
Working with our marketing team to identify marketing opportunities that create sell-through
Resolves customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients
Creating sales pitches
KPI tracking and reporting
Executing sales objectives
Managing client accounts
Finding and following new sales leads
Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
Attending networking events
Negotiating sales contracts
Preparing sales contracts; following company rules and guidelines
Building trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers
Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data
Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
Cultivating positive interactions and relationships with sales representatives, team leaders and managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
Motivating team members to exceed expected goals
Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
Researching the market and industry trends
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age or older with 4 years of sales experience & must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
