Position Summary:
As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success. Currently, we are seeking a Repack Orders Material Handler who will be primarily responsible for the support of the distribution center by efficiently picking merchandise located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton or tote in a manner which promotes ease of identification and scanning.
- Must be able to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
- Must be able to accurately identify units of measure.
- Must be able to identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
- Must be able to prepare orders in containers and place on conveyors for transport to customer.
- Ability to take direction from Supervisor.
- Adhere to housekeeping guidelines.
- Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
- High School diploma preferred
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.
- Excellent attendance record
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed
- Good comprehension skills
- Good math skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
- Attention to detail essential and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
- Must be a team player with a can do attitude
- Power Equipment certification a plus
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs up to 3.5 feet from the floor
