The Project Manager, working in our Mooresville office, is responsible for projects supporting the growth of programs in the Home Center Channel. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will work directly with the Sales Executives, Company Leadership, Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Operations.
Responsibilities for Project Manager:
- The PM will lead the product and program launch process. In addition, the PM will leverage our business solutions process to commercialize new products and programs. As a result, you will be ensuring timing and KPI targets are achieved.
- Lead Market Research and Product Pricing Analysis.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules to meet program objectives.
- Work cross-functionally to gather, confirm and finalize required technical, financial, and operational information necessary for product and program setup.
- Run cross-functional team meetings to manage project progress, communicate issues, identify opportunities, align expectations, identify potential risks/issues, and overcome obstacles to deliver against tight deadlines.
- Provide project updates weekly to executive leadership.
- Conduct post-launch reviews of critical initiatives and recommend and implement cross-functionally improvements to the commercialization process.
Qualifications for Project Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Statistics or Business.
- Minimum five years’ experience in project management and product commercialization.
- Experience seeing projects through the entire life cycle with a proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Experience working with Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Fulfillment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills- comfortable interacting with different people inside and outside the organization.
- Works well under time-tight lines and in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven experience leading effective cross-functional meetings.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project). Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are required.
- Excellent analytical and creative critical thinking skills.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking ability.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

- Indoor and Outdoor products are home improvement focused; therefore, a strong background in construction, building materials, hardware, and seasonal businesses is preferred.
