What are the responsibilities and job description for the Franchise Training Specialist position at Orion Land Mark?
We are looking for a high energy, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Franchise Training Specialist.
As a Franchise Training Specialist you will provide training expertise to Franchisees convenience store personnel to ensure they are able to meet Orion Land Mark standards for store level operational execution. Success in this role is defined by the ability to provide hands on instruction, guidance, direction, coaching, feedback and support regarding implementation of Orion Land Mark business strategies. This position requires weekly travel.
Specific Duties May Include:
- Understand complex cause and effect relationships and links concepts to practice. Uses these skills to ensure trainees attain competency in the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exemplary service to maximize sales and profitability in their store.
- Facilitate regional and market-level education events for field operations, store operators, and franchisees to support training of initiatives for incumbent populations.
- Train and certify new and existing franchisees personnel on proper operational (QSC), administrative and general marketing procedures.
- Execute the Orion Land Mark system that has been developed for training locations following the formats and guidelines in the Franchise Training Specialist handbook. Employee shall use independent discretion in determining how best to administer Orion Land Mark policies and specifications in each individual training situation.
- Manage the delivery of training as required, including monitoring participant's progress and provide feedback to participants and supervisors regarding actual performance of Trainees in any class conducted.
- Answer operational and marketing questions, reviewing administrative paperwork, and communicating new products and procedures.
- Initiate discussion and provide consistent and concise feedback, both written and verbal, throughout the training program.
- Cultivate a favorable business relationship with the Franchisee in order to assist the Franchisee to maximize profits.
- Assure that all company and governmental regulations are being observed. Other duties as assigned.
Education and/ Or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-5 years training experience in food industry desired.
- Current, valid driver’s license and exemplary driving record. Driver’s license must meet company’s driver expectation point standards. All company drivers have their MVR checked every 6 months for compliance.
