Position Details:
Title: Field Service Engineer I
Location: Richardson, TX
Shift: Typically, day shift hours but can flex to night shift on a compressed work week
Compensation: $35 /hr DOEQ on a 40-hour work week with OT as needed. Annualized performance related bonus provided.
Benefits: Benefits may include a pension plan (401k plan); a healthcare benefit plan including, for example, dental care; vacation and holiday pay as well as paid time off; short-term and long-term disability coverage. Relocation may be provided if relocating from OOA.
Travel: Expect travel up to 75% within the region and USA as needed. All travel related expenses covered.

Position Description:
• Perform installations, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic / electro-
mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at company’s customer locations.
• Have the ability to assist in customer escalations and manage beta-site projects.
• Create and maintain a high level of customer delight through advanced customer service skills, implementing fast quality responses to both internal and external customers while maintaining a safety-first mentality.
• Will be required to develop action plans for problem resolution and be able to present to internal and external
customers.
• Develop improvements for processes, hardware and software for continuous improvement of company equipment / business operations.
Experience and minimum qualifications:
• Blend of the following experience:
• 6-10 years field service or relevant military experience in install, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic- mechanical equipment / customer support background and/or 6-8 years manufacturing experience in final assembly or test of semiconductor capital equipment
• BSEET or equivalent Technical Training or ASEET/Mech with 5 years fab experience
• Knowledge/aptitude to become proficient in any or all the following areas: wafer fab, closed loop gas and vacuum control, RG induced plasma, electro-pneumatic controls, microprocessor-based controllers, robotics, basic concepts
of software, toxic and/or flammable gasses and acids.
