Position Details
Location: Newburyport, MA
Pay: $19-$25/hr
Hours: Monday through Friday; 7 am- 4 pm
Position Description
As an Order Fulfillment Clerk, you will:
o Notify Sales / Service in the event of stock outs or late deliveries.
o Work with purchasing (Production Manager, Production Assistant) to ensure availability of stock items.
o Report trends and parts order increases to Shipping & Receiving Lead / Production Manager.
o Manage shipping software, UPS World Ship, FEDEx, DHL.
o Physical Inventory.
o Keep stock room clean and orderly.
o Manage shipping consumables.
o Maintain labeling and part numbering identification.
o Maintain inventory areas outside of stock room.
o Receive manufactured components and process paperwork.
o Maintain the shop order databases.
o Load & unload trucks when needed.
o Notify Production Manager with delivery issues.
o Manage inventory deletion sheets weekly.
o Assist production with material movement.

o Lifting parts weighing anywhere from 50# to 100#

Position Description
As an Order Fulfillment Clerk, you will:
- Be an active member of the team and will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. From a day-to-day task standpoint, you will:
- Fulfill Spare Part Ordering Requirements (~65%):
o Notify Sales / Service in the event of stock outs or late deliveries.
o Work with purchasing (Production Manager, Production Assistant) to ensure availability of stock items.
o Report trends and parts order increases to Shipping & Receiving Lead / Production Manager.
o Manage shipping software, UPS World Ship, FEDEx, DHL.
- Assist Shipping & Receiving Lead in stock room processes (~10%):
o Physical Inventory.
o Keep stock room clean and orderly.
o Manage shipping consumables.
o Maintain labeling and part numbering identification.
o Maintain inventory areas outside of stock room.
- Assist Shipping & Receiving Lead in receiving functions (~15%):
o Receive manufactured components and process paperwork.
o Maintain the shop order databases.
o Load & unload trucks when needed.
- Assist Shipping & Receiving Lead in Issuance functions (~10%):
o Notify Production Manager with delivery issues.
o Manage inventory deletion sheets weekly.
o Assist production with material movement.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- MS Office
- Must have experience from one or more of the following industries: Metal fabrication. Production shop environments.
- Preferred: Original equipment manufacturing, Strong background in factory environments, stock room and inventory control processes.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must have a drive for attention to detail.
- Must be organized.
