Position Summary
Orlando Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cytotechnology Supervisor. They will supervise multiple Cytotechnologists and Cytotechnology prep assistants, coordinate technical operations to assure that accurate and timely services are provided.
Education/Training
- Graduate from an approved school of Cytotechnology. Bachelor’s degree in science or Cytotechnology
Licensure/Certification
- Maintains current supervisor license and cytotechnoligist license required for area of responsibility - Florida Department of Health.
- Certified Cytotechnologist (ASCP) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists – renewed annually.
- Passed research, ethics and compliance training (CITI).
Experience
- Five (5) years laboratory experience.
