Orlando Lutheran Towers is seeking a professional full-time security officer. Our security officers provides first-class service to make sure our 24/7 operation is monitored and secured. We maintain and provide security solutions to serve, secure and care for our residents, patients, and visitors of our community. JOB SUMMARY:The security officer will provide security patrol for the entire OSHN campus. Responsible for safeguarding the residents, employees, and property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. The incumbent will complete daily security logs, incident reports, vehicle logs, and safety check logs. JOB TYPE:FULL-TIME, HOURLY*after 90 days of employment
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Possess a valid Florida Class “PD” or “D” license or obtain one within the 90-day probationary period
Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
Willing to work beyond the normal working hours and in other positions temporarily, when necessary
Required to work on the weekends with varied shifts
Able to function independently with little to no supervision
