Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes.
- Manage the office calendar, scheduling appointments and coordinating patient visits.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette, answering calls and addressing patient inquiries or concerns.
- Lead and manage a team of office staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and improve overall office performance.
- Handle front desk duties, including greeting patients, checking them in/out, and verifying insurance information.
- Maintain organized files and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage phone systems, ensuring proper routing of calls and timely response to messages.
Skills:
- Proven experience in medical office management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using calendar management software and other office tools.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required.
