We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our talented HR team in a temporary assignment from May, 2023 through December 31, 2023. This valuable position will model behaviors that are in alignment with our vision, mission, values and goals. Our HR team has the distinct opportunity to partner with all aspects of the organization, to assist in the development of our associates, and to play an integral part in influencing strategic business decisions.
Who you will be working with:
The Human Resource Generalist reports directly to the OSC Human Resource Manager. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You'll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, including those with a strong focus on recruiting seasonal and temporary help for our Distribution Center.

General Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent throughout the OSC.
Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across the business including working closely with third party recruiting partners.
Work Closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
Take ownership of the candidate experience.
Develop social networking programs/ platforms to reach passive job seekers.
Assist HR team with various departmental projects and initiatives partnering with both Vermont and Virginia team.
Qualifications Required:
Requires strong integrity with unwavering confidentiality of and respect for all aspects of human resource functions.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize, coordinate and organize projects with a strong attention detail.
Ability to anticipate problems and take the initiative to solve them.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Strong customer service, relationship building, judgment and problem-solving skills.
2-5 years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience in a fast-paced environment with an Associate’s Degree or its equivalent work experience are preferred.
HR Certification PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.
