Restaurant Server

Osaka Sushi Elk Grove is hiring servers that are available for part time positions. Server positions are open for immediate hire but for serious candidates only. Previous serving experience with Friday and weekend availability are strongly preferred. Open availability will also be considered.

Our business hours are 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday through Friday lunches and 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM weekend lunches. 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM all dinner hours Wednesday through Sunday.

We are looking for qualified candidates who are willing to take direction, has attention to detail and who are motivated and driven all while working in a team environment. These individuals should be able to work efficiently and quickly to get through daily rushes while always paying close attention to quality and emphasize customer service.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet customer/Take orders/serve food and drinks
• Understanding of the various food and drink items on the menu
• Ability to work in a team orientated working environment
• Has knowledge of proper food handling techniques
• Prep/close waitstaff areas
• Close out guest checks
• Clean/sanitize to keep up with compliance with service standards
• Must adhere to all company standards and policies
• Manage and take care of all customers

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of serving experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Must have knowledge of proper food handling techniques and have a valid food handler card
• Understanding of the various food and drink items on the menu
• Must have a customer forward attitude and able to provide the best service for all customers within a team setting
• Ability to work fast under pressure without sacrificing customer service
• Must be able to work nights and weekends but also have availability during the week
• Uniform/employee must be clean and presentable for each shift
• Have an openness to learn and grow with the company
