Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Syteline, SQL, and data analytics. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data from MRP systems, generating reports, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in Syteline V10, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve, study, and gather data from MRP systems and transfer it to Excel for the purpose of creating reports and conducting production modeling.
- Analyze the collected data and accurately record the results, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Evaluate the impact of changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided on production processes, identifying potential areas for improvement.
- Create reports for management that outline and compare the factors influencing pricing and profitability of products or services, assisting in strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business challenges, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business analysis, utilizing new tools and techniques to improve data analysis and reporting processes.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications and experience are preferred:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SQL, data analytics, and report writing, demonstrating a strong understanding of database management and data manipulation.
- Proficiency in working with Syteline V10 is required, with a deep understanding of its functionalities and modules.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, providing a strong foundation in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with an ERP system is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to navigate complex systems and extract valuable information.
- Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is highly desirable, enabling you to effectively analyze production data and optimize resource allocation.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze and interpret data, identifying patterns, trends, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Computer literacy, including advanced skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word, ensuring proficiency in data manipulation, presentation, and communication.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects, demonstrating self-motivation, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills.
- Experience with Smartsheets or Google Docs is a plus, highlighting your ability to work with collaborative tools effectively and streamline project management processes.
