Coding Specialist
Shifts: Full time (1.0, Monday – Friday, 8 – 4:30, remote option available after successful completion of onsite orientation)
Duties: Performs coding functions of inpatient, outpatient and physician encounters for optimal reimbursement and ensures compliance with established policies, guidelines and regulations. Applying correct ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS coding to inpatient, outpatient and physician encounters. Opportunity to work from home after completing training onsite with occasional attendance required for onsite meetings and trainings.
Requirements: CPC, RHIT or CCS certification required. One to two years of clinic, outpatient or inpatient coding experience required.
