The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation of global business-building activities and development of global marketing tools, to include brand and product advertising, as well as the development of content with internal and external groups. Independently complete consumer and competitive research projects and provide recommendations to support business development. The Associate Marketing Manager collaborates with strategy, marketing, agency partners and consultants to support overall business and department objectives. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Participate in the development and execution of marketing plans and brand management to establish pathways for growth in both core and adjacent markets. Contribute to the development of marketing strategy. Participate in the development and management of campaigns, including print, media relations, digital platforms and social media, to accomplish stated goals and metrics; expand brand awareness among key constituencies. Participate in the research, analysis and presentation of market and competitive intelligence data to be utilized by business unit teams in assessing new markets, branding and positioning. Lead one or more projects with competing and conflicting timelines and priorities including but not limited to branding, communications, advertising and functional support. Manage company website content development, SEO and SEM campaign creation and execution, and long-term channel maximization strategies. Support a world-class customer experience for events such as trade shows, facility visits and program milestone events, ensuring communication content development, application and flawless execution. Analyze reports to understand data trends and insights to drive business decisions. Collaborate with marketing, other functional groups, agency partners and consultants to support overall business and department objectives; operate in a matrix organization and play a functional leadership role with the business unit cross-functional team. Write and edit internal and external communications elements, such as speaking points, press releases, employee memos, social media posts, case studies, presentations, etc. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. Six (6) or more years of experience in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field. Ability to travel 25%. STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration (MBA). Existing relationships with US media outlets. Exposure to international media markets and multicultural engagement. Graphic design experience. Exceptional written and editing skills – background in business writing, journalism, copy editing and original writing. Strong project management and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing and conflicting timelines and priorities. Proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. WHY OSHKOSH?
