What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Architect position at OST Inc?
Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:
Establish a practical approach to supporting an enterprise architecture that starts and ends with a focus on delivering signature-ready, actionable recommendations to business and IT leaders, so they can adjust policies, products, processes, and projects to achieve target business outcomes.
· Develop a Reference Architecture that includes all major functions of infrastructure and how it aligns with the mission and vision of the organization.
· Coordinate Workshop(s) with business leaders to discuss Business Continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery, and Business Readiness.
· Validate existing roadmaps and tactical plans to support the migration of on-premise hosted solutions to SaaS or Azure hosted solutions following the new County’s Deployment Strategy including a prioritization schedule.
· Validate and/or update Technical Domains in the County’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) Technical Architecture document: including constructing and/or enhancing current offerings and describing potential solution options.
Establish a Cost Benefit/Return on Investment (ROI)/Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model(s)for moving County Enterprise hosted Solutions from the County data center to either SaaS vendor solutions or County hosting services in the County’s Azure tenant.
· Develop architectural blueprint / solution / service capability / strategy documents to enhance the Enterprise Architecture and guide the implementation team(s). Enterprise Architecture components include but are not limited to the following service areas:
- Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Office 365 Services
- SaaS solution delivery
- Azure Services
- Telephony
- Networking
- Identity Management
- End Point Management
- Records Management
- Secure Data Exchange
- Data Classification
- Security
· Evaluate and recommend solutions for best fit migration and costs.
· Facilitate communication, the cooperation and collaboration by and between TEBS implementation teams and Business owners to assure timely completion of projects.
· Validate, steer and provide feedback to the TEBS 0365 Enterprise Architect, Solution Owners, TEBS Leaders and TEBS Security Team.
· Develop and communicate IT concepts, management principles, and strategic objectives orally and in writing to audiences with highly varying degrees of knowledge and experience.
· Plan and conduct meetings with diverse stakeholder groups.
· Provide input on cloud contracts and perform review in cooperation with Legal team.
· Work closely with 0365 architect to provide insight and recommendations.
· Coordinate infrastructure items for consideration to the TEBS Change Control Board.
· Work with CIO and direct reports to develop infrastructure strategic plan document.

Salary: $140,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
