IoT Domain Architect
The IoT Domain Architect is a professional services engineering role which will engage with customers to understand their technical needs, assess application and service portfolios, design reliable and cost-effective architecture revolving around Connected Products and IoT. You will champion the solution with a structured approach, partnering with customers, sales and other teams within OST. You will be responsible for gaining alignment between others within your problem space, such as:
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges as it pertains to their specific technology space. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business.
The IoT Domain Architect is a very technical role - you are broadly competent across several areas of technology (such as infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, serverless technologies or analytics) and deep in at least 1-2 of those areas specific to the technology space.
On the business side, the ability to connect the impact of a technical decision or solution with measurable business value is critical to a domain architect. The IoT Domain Architect will spend most of their day designing and developing quality products, often interacting with several customer stakeholders, including developers, team leads, and product owners.
