Purpose:
Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the PC Desktop Support functions and duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help prep and support desktop deployment.
- Ability to triage basic user PC issues, including but not limited to, being unable to boot, recovering files, troubleshooting software and connectivity issues.
- Enable prep/support of endpoints (desktops/laptops) while following OSUP processes for inventory/asset assignment and recovery.
- Services to includes unboxing, prep, imaging, labeling and removal of packing material.
- Recovery and recycling of outgoing hardware in accordance with OSUP IT department policies.
- Ability to perform functions using job-related software and systems.
- Travel may be required to different locations as required.
- Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors, and politeness to customers, vendors, and patients.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
