Unit Secretary- Urgent Care (Fulton and Central Square locations)
The Unit Secretary schedules patients accurately, process incoming and outgoing mail. Complete ROI by obtaining data from discharge releases and other agencies.
- Use computer programs including order entry per policy as assigned Complete all department documentation accurately as assigned.
- Accurately identifies all information before filing, collating, or reporting data.
- Maintain charts and files in a systematic order.
- Works effectively and communicates frequently with all members of the health care team.
- Handles telephone information with courtesy, accuracy, and respect for confidentiality.
- Follows chain of command appropriately to resolve problems and concerns.
- Notifies appropriate nursing personnel of patient requests; promptly report matters requiring immediate nursing intervention.
High school diploma or GED required. Prefer 1 year office experience.
Pay Range: $15.25-$16.78/hr
Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
