e3 Diagnostics is looking for a Shipping Clerk to be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and recieving incoming shipments. Teh distribution associate is responsible for assisting in many of the daily activities within the distribution center.

This is a temp to per position.

Responsibilities
    Demonstrate good customer service to all department memebers through timely movement of goods into and out of the warehouse. Contributes to good customer service through follow up of issues and concerns of internal and external customers. Promotes customer-centric environment.
  • Receives incoming products and checks the contents of packages against packing list and manifests.
  • Count, enter, and then inventory items received.
  • Assist coworkers to determine their needs.
  • Answer all channels (phone, email, fax, etc.) of customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process orders received from customers via multiple channels in an accurate and timely manner to include picking, packing, shipping, and fulfilling orders.
  • Keep Customer Service Supervisor and/or coworkers informed regarding back-ordered items.
  • Maintain knowledge of United States and international shipping requirements to ensure orders are appropriately delivered to customers and returns are received and processed correctly.
  • Initiate and/or process return authorizations for incorrect product orders and/or shipments.
  • Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies.
  • Meet established metrics for this position at a satisfactory or higher level.
  • Maintain warehouse and ensure storage area is in good condition.
  • Follow the guidlines and directions set by the management team

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Possess basic math skills and be able to apply them effectively.
  • Organized and able to follow instructions.
  • Proficiency with computers and UPS shipping software.
  • Be a self-motivated individual.
  • Be able to work independently.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and be highly organized.
  • Be able to multi-task and be resourceful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity and understanding with Windows 10
  • Experience with UPS shipping software & warehouse management systems
  • Exerting up to 20 pound regularly, and 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • The ability to stand for an extended period of time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
