Date Posted: 2023-04-18 Country: United States of America Location: OT277: NKG - EAST HARTFORD, CT 242 PITKIN STREET, EAST HARTFORD, CT, 06108 USA Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Lead FP&A Manager to analyze and report on business performance of the region. The position will report to the CFO, Eastern Region. Essential Responsibilities · Responsible for top level forecasting and plan including long range plan · Oversee and monitor monthly financial close process · Provide monthly summary of financial results to leadership including flash reports Handle financial slides, forecasting and analysis for Operating reviews, leadership reporting, and Quarterly Business reviews Provide oversight to the region in the areas of maintenance and open order Manage mergers & acquisition evaluations and review Provide strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs related to finance Analyze and report on business performance of the region to include the interpretation of financial reports, researching accounting issues, and providing monthly variance analyses Establish and maintain monthly P&L forecasts and identify associated risks and opportunities Work with general managers and regional general managers to identify and evaluate revenue and profit growth opportunities in service and present recommendations to senior management Provide a systematic review of large sets of operating data to include hours worked, efficiencies, callbacks, and unit demographics to assist management in their decision making Education / Certifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master's degree preferred Basic Qualifications 7 years’ experience in progressive finance positions required Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow analysis required Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment Candidate must demonstrate strong presentation, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with leadership Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software Strong leadership skills and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills Travel Some travel required within the region Work Location Hybrid - with flexibility to be located in an office/location within the Eastern Region.
