Otium restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles is looking for candidates to fill a part-time weekends Sommelier position (Saturdays/Sundays)!
Candidates must have a reliable track record, along with being skilled and dedicated. Sommelier will be responsible for ensuring that Otium's high standards are met.
Otium is on the South side of the Broad Museum – located on Grand Avenue between 2nd and 3rd street.
Job Description
Sommelier position duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Floor Sales / Sales Driven (wine sales incentive)
- Wine service
- Staff Education
- Assist with Monthly Inventory
Preferred Experience
- Basic knowledge of inDesign / Adobe
- Availability Tuesday - Sunday
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
- Certified Sommelier or WSET Level 2 or equivalent
- 2 years of restaurant experience as a Sommelier
