What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Professional-Walk In Clinic position at Ouachita Behavioral Health & Wellness?
Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking a Terminally Licensed Mental Health Professional (MHP) for our Hot Springs location to provide services in our Open Access/Walk-In Clinic. The MHP is responsible for providing mental health and substance use assessments, care coordination and treatment to individuals and families. Must have licensure as a Mental Health Professional in the State of Arkansas. Some evenings will be required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Training and/or Experience)
- Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, or related field
- Licensure as a mental health professional in the State of Arkansas per requirements of the Medicaid OBH Manual
- Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer for e-mail and electronic medical record
- Provide clinical supervision as required by OBH
ONGOING REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain licensure
- Capacity to function effectively within the context of the cultural beliefs, behaviors, and needs of clients and the community
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must have typing/keyboarding ability to use computer as required. Must be able to communicate by speaking and writing in an understandable manner. Must be able to operate standard office equipment. Mild level of activity including walking, standing, sitting and occasional light lifting. Regular attendance at work is a requirement of this position.

POSITION GOAL
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing mental health assessment, case coordination, and treatment to individuals and families according to established performance indicators.

Salary : $45,100 - $57,100
