Registered Nurse RN – Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Long Term Acute Care Hospital (Transitional Care) RN Responsibilities:
- Registered Nurses must be proficient in a wide variety of high-level nursing skills. Exceptional Critical
- Care RNs have strong interpersonal communication, leadership, and critical thinking
- Assessing a patient’s condition and planning and implementing patient care plans
- Assisting physicians in performing procedures
- Observing and recording vital signs
- Evaluating and ordering diagnostic tests
- Monitor the patients’ well-being, both emotional and physical
- Collaborates with members of the critical care team
- Administers intravenous fluids and medications
Job Requirements – Registered Nurse RN:
- 1-2 year(s) of previous Clinical experience (must be skilled with vents, drips and trachs)
- ACLS/BLS issued through American Heart Association
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Current Registered Nurse (RN License) in the state of employment or compact (multi-state) license
- Must live 50 miles from assignment location to qualify for contract. (Local Assignment available at alternate compensation package)
