Looking for an honest, highly motivated individual with ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment to fill our position as lube tech . Outshiner is also very big on customer service and every employee must be friendly and helpful towards our customers. Outshiner is looking for flexible, dependable, and ready to work people with a demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks, consistently demonstrate great enthusiasm with each customer, and able to work at a high pace. The responsibility of a Lube Technician is to ensure a vehicle is operating properly along with performing routine maintenance on vehicles (e.g. oil change, grease bearings, install air filters, inflate tires, more complex services such as engine coolant, transmission flushes). We are seeking those looking for long term positions.
Take initiative by working with the Store Manager to increase sales, improve store profitability and reduce controllable expenses
Establish routines and processes to ensure that automotive services are performed in accordance with Outshiner standards
Ensure that Teammates are meeting all safety, productivity, training, quality and guest service requirements and that facilities and work areas are safe, clean and fully operational
Assist guests with their questions and needs, either in person or via telephone
Manager must have a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times. This person should also have a sound business aptitude and a thorough understanding of automotive services. The Assistant Manager must also:
Must be able to motivate and inspire Teammates
Communicate effectively with our guests and at all levels within the organization
Have the ability to explain technical diagnoses and recommended repairs to non-mechanical individuals
Be able to continuously learn and teach new technical information and techniques in the rapidly changing automotive industry
Physical Qualifications
Selected hire must be able to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces. Ability to work in an environment in which you may frequently experience hot and cold temperatures, loud noises and exhaust fumes. Other physical qualifications include:
Must be able to operate equipment such as floor mounted oil and grease guns, transmission machine, radiator service machine, hand tools and basic office equipment
Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
Must be able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands
Have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive vehicles
Experience:
- Adjusting staffing to fit traffic
- Coaching, training, and onboarding
- Conveying information between management and employees
- Evaluating and retaining employees
- Inventory management

- Placing orders and interacting with vendors
