Outside In is looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented leader to join the Support Services team as our new IT Manager. This position will be an important member of the Support Services team, focused on overseeing the IT team. This position will manage the many aspects of Outside In’s IT environment including infrastructure, software, hardware, and support. The IT Manager will work at our downtown offices located at 1030 SW 13th_ Ave in Portland, OR, and reports to the Support Services Director._ Do you need to feel connected to the mission and vision of your organization? This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, non-represented, exempt position with a starting salary of $68,224- $79,809, depending on experience and skills. What you will do:
Budget, forecast, and purchase software licenses, computers, servers, storage, laptops, peripherals, and various other hardware
Ensure Outside In’s IT infrastructure supports day-to-day operations, and adheres to strong security standards
Project management - in collaboration with the IT team and relevant staff, particularly major or special projects relevant to this role.
Oversee and perform various web and application updates: OI public website; web application/form programming, scripting, and application integration; implement appropriate solutions to meet needs (i.e. in-house and vendor-hosted forms)
Oversee and perform server administration, including VMware vSphere virtual server infrastructure, Veeam backups, and Windows Server roles and features
Oversee and perform network (LAN and WAN) management. Troubleshoot outages and communicate with telecom vendors and ISPs
Hire, train, and supervise IT Specialists; ensure appropriate delineation of duties to accomplish all work; cover for their duties as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS This job is located in a standard medical office environment. There is limited exposure to outdoor weather while walking to surrounding sites. Remote and onsite work expected, including negligible travel to other locations or as appropriate. This job requires operating phones, computers and other office equipment. Communicating is required on a regular basis. Moving inside the building to other offices and program delivery spaces as well as moving to surrounding sites is expected.
