Responsibilities:
Review construction documents and collaborate with Engineers, Architects, General Contractors/Owners to ensure the design of Fire Sprinkler Systems meet specific requirements. Recommend improvements to procedures as needed.
Compile submittals and submit to appropriate AHJ to obtain permits and licenses in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met.
Determine needed resources, (Manpower, Equipment, Materials, etc.) from start to finish to ensure that all budget requirements are accomplished.
Acquire and maintain design and manage historical records for all functions for future use.
Identify changes in projects that impact cost, schedule, or labor requirements.
Superior ability to identify and respond to potential issues throughout the life of the project to minimize potential issues and ensure the well being of Overhead Fire Protections reputation as all times.
Requirements:
A minimum of three to five years of experience as a construction project manager (knowledge of the Fire Sprinkler Industry is preferred)
Thorough knowledge of Construction Management software including:
Procore
Box
Dropbox
Microsoft Office
Adobe
Knowledge of Engineering Software including:
BIM 360
Navisworks
AutoCAD
Excellent Communication, Organization and Time Management skills
A team player with superior leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
