What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Programming position at Overtime?
Head of Programming
Overtime is looking for a multi-talented digital media executive to take on the role of Head of Programming.
This role will be responsible for synthesizing information from all of Overtime’s various content teams and league properties to make decisions about our content roadmap. What are we publishing? When are we publishing it? What channels are we publishing on? Why those channels? How are we making sure the content performs above benchmark? How are we planning our content calendar for 6 months from now? A year from now?
You’ll also be tasked with going out in the marketplace and lining up new programming for Overtime’s channels. This could include striking deals with talent or negotiating production agreements with the subjects of a new show. Finally, you’ll work closely with Overtime’s national sales team on the packaging, marketing, and pitching of all our content offerings. You’ll be expected to brainstorm creative ideas for how we package our content, and will contribute on every step of the Sales process from brainstorm all the way to execution and launching content.
