The Opportunity Undergraduate Commerce/Business students will gain valuable experience in various aspects of oil and gas accounting, such as production/revenue, joint venture, capital, regulatory, financial reporting, internal audit, accounts receivable and property tax. Successful applicants will work in a fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding work environment. These positions will be based in our Calgary office and are available for a 4-month term starting in May 2023. Many of our students are offered full-time positions upon graduation. In an effort to support our early career accountants pursuing a CPA designation, we have an in-house CPA pre-approved program in the Canadian office! In addition to reimbursing course expenses, we also support candidates by providing a team of in-house mentors and offer a generous study leave plan. Qualifications Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the work term. Currently in third year of Accounting. Preference will be given to students pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with a curriculum selection aligned for working in industry. Demonstrated high academic achievement. Hiring Hourly Range: $23-$29 CAD Compensation may vary and will be determined by year in school and placement location.
