Blaze Equipment is looking to hire a highly motivated, independent, and professional individual to join our team in Ft. worth, TX as our Operations Manager. Blaze is an industry leader in the sales, service and rental of foundational drill rigs and related accessories serving North America from our location in Fort Worth, TX. Blaze is the official North America dealer for HPM, a market-leading manufacturer of foundation drill rigs. Our products are utilized in major construction projects for critical infrastructure including highway construction, bridge construction, electrical grid infrastructure and major industrial construction projects. We work with leading construction, utility, and oil field contractors across the United States to help build the next generation of critical infrastructure in the United States.

Salary: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 an hour depending on experience with the potential for an annual bonus.

Job Description:
The goal of this position is to manage all aspects of inside operations for the business. This is a hands-on working position that will manage and actively assist in day-to-day operations. The Operations Manager will help develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations, providing input and feedback on operations, processes, and results to the General l Manager. Applicants should have strong analytical and communication skills. The company is seeking a natural leader who knows what it takes to guide a team to success and be accountable for results.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Promoting an operations environment focused on safety in all aspects
- Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately.
- Providing training, coaching, development, and motivation to branch personnel the overall productivity of the operations by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities.
- Strategic and Operational Planning
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry policies and procedures.
- Act as a servant leader creating a positive work environment employees enjoy.
- Act as mentor that emphasizes succession planning through professional development.
- Aligns the operations management team with company strategies and goals.
- Promote programs, policies, and processes for continuous improvement of culture, safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Develop operational strategies, goals, and KPIs that are easy to understand, communicate, measure, and get employees to support.
- Proactively identifies risks and proposes solutions through resource planning, forecasts, budgets, and labor schedules.

Qualifications:
- BS in Business Administration or technical / related field.
- 7 to 10 years of proven management experience as an operations manager with a strong ability to manage and motivate all team members
- Experience in equipment manufacturing and/or job-shop environment. Welding, Metal Fabrication, Repair Services, Inventory Management
- Understanding of financial reports
- Good computer skills: Excel, Word, CRM etc.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to be hands-on in all areas of the operation
- Inside and outside sales background helpful
- Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful
- Ability to take and execute direction to help the company reach its goals and provide superior customer service in every department.
Monday Friday 7:00 am 4:00 pm with possible occasional overnight travel
