Job Summary:
Responsible for Install, Configure , manage ,support Microfocus Enterprise server and related software\functions.
Core Responsibilities:
- SME for Micro Focus Enterprise Server (MF ES) and related software\functions. Install, configure, manage, support MF ES
- Install, configure, manage, support MF ED (or Build Tool) – with Azure DevOps application deployment.
- Monitor and triage OMNI ‘system’ level issues or problems. Coordinate and manage OMNI infrastructure configuration and changes.
- Software updates (patches etc.), server changes\replacements, storage changes, etc.
- Coordinate and manage OMNI related data backup configuration including backup processes and restores as needed.
- SME for Broadcom Workload Automation (WA). Install, configure, manage, support WA. Monitor and respond to any WA ‘system’ level issues or problems. Define and manage user access for WA (defined in OMIMF domain)
- SME for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) – monitoring for OMNI. Manage OMNI monitoring functions defined within SCOM. Coordinate and work with Intel team for SCOM hosting Windows systems. Windows, AD, and related system administrator functions as needed. Manage local system user access for all OMNI infrastructure servers. Manage local system resources and configurations for all OMNI infrastructure servers. OMNI infrastructure AD – OMIMF and OMIMF-Dev domains. Work with appropriate teams (Intel, DI, Security, etc.) as needed.
Qualifying Experience:
- 8 years relevant experience with bachelor’s degree in computer Science, or equivalent
- 8 years relevant experience with master’s degree in science, Business Administration, or Information Technology preferred.
