What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista - Full-time M-F 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM position at OXFORD HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY CENTER LLC?
THE POSITION:
Barista - Full-time - Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (No weekends)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner while taking orders for food and drink
- Preparing and serving various types of hot and cold coffees and teas from simple to elaborate
- Preparing and serving grab-and-go food items such as breakfast sandwiches, veggie cups, muffins, and pastries
- Answering customers’ questions about menu choices
- Promoting and recommending menu options to customer
- Taking payment from customers
- Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and scheduling repairs
- Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized
- Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Listen well and communicates in a professional and friendly manner
- Focus on customer satisfaction
- Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages
- Be efficient and organized
- Build good relationships with customers and co-workers
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- ServSafe certification is preferred
- Barista experience is preferred
