We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Land Administration Specialist within our Land Administration group based in The Woodlands, Texas. Essential Job Responsibilities: The Land Administration Specialist facilitate the distribution of proceeds from oil and gas sales as to Outside operated properties. Also assists in the analyses of title documents to determine ownership. Maintain and update ownership records. - Reviews and monitors well reports for geographic area. - Become familiar with Bizagi Outside Operated report. - Review SharePoint sites for outside operated properties and prioritize properties. - Familiar with associated software/ systems; SAP and QLS. - Assists in non-operated well set-up. - Performs basic ownership changes. - Assists with mail process; open, scan and prepare Dynamic’s tickets. - Assists with special projects within the department including acquisitions and divestitures. - Prepare appropriate forms for disbursement of payments including preparation of division orders, supplemental division orders and transfer orders. - Reviews title opinions and associated documentation. - Basic analysis and interpretation of leases, division orders, contracts, deeds, title opinions, probate, and assignments. - Assists with identification of title/ownership issues, recommending appropriate steps for resolution. - Collaborates with team members. - Perform assigned tasks. - Learns company standards, processes and practices of the Division Order Team. - Communicates internally within team and externally with owners, vendors and other customers. - Attends internal and external educational events, along with establishing network contacts with other Land professionals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications - Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal - Strong organizational skills and detail oriented - Knowledge of Quorum Land System/SAP experience a plus - Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet deadlines - Knowledge of basic land principles - General understanding of land terminology - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail - Proficiency in Excel and Word - Must communicate effectively with internal & external clients Education: Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred Travel Requirements: The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-10%.
