The Role 👩💻
Location: This position is remote and you can work from home so long as you have a strong wifi connection.
We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Global Recruiter based anywhere in the Americas ( /- 5 PDT) to join our team! As a Global Recruiter, you will be our regional talent expert reporting to the Global Talent Acquisition Director. You will work with the Talent Acquisition team to build and scale a strategy that brings the best talent to Oyster from around the world.
What you'll be doing...
- Source and find candidates qualified for open positions around the globe. Your roles won’t be confined to one geographic location, you’ll be sourcing near and far to ensure we find the best
- Effectively and efficiently screen candidates for basic qualifications
- Educate and engage candidates about the company's mission and journey in a compelling way so that they are excited about joining Oyster from your first conversation and beyond
- Drive candidates through the hiring process, ensuring the best experience at all times
- Become a strong business partner to our hiring managers so that you can understand feedback, iterate on the role requirements, and evolve your sourcing and hiring strategy as needed
- Manage candidates through Greenhouse (our ATS) to fasten and professionalize our hiring processes
- Track and report on recruiting KPIs
What We're looking for 📜
- Source and find candidates qualified for open positions around the globe
- Effectively and efficiently screen candidates for basic qualifications
- Educate and engage candidates about the company's mission and journey in a compelling way
- Drive candidates through the hiring process, ensuring the best experience at all times
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand feedback, iterate on the role requirements, and evolve your sourcing and hiring strategy as needed
- Manage our Greenhouse applicant tracking system (ATS) to fasten and professionalize our hiring processes
- Track and report on recruiting KPIs
Skill sets that are important
- 3 years of in-house full-cycle recruiting with high growth technology startups / scaleups
- Track record of efficiently delivering high-quality candidate pipeline for multiple roles at once
- Experience with sourcing and hiring internationally; understanding of the global talent market
- Excellent ability to educate and engage candidates about the company's mission and journey
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with hiring managers and candidates
- Ability to understand business needs and continually iterate on the ideal candidate profile
- Experience using and optimizing a modern ATS: Greenhouse, Lever etc.
- Experience with a variety of sourcing strategies including advanced Boolean search skills
- Passion for advancing our mission through inclusive and equal opportunity global hiring\
