Position Overview
The SAP SME role entails in-depth expertise in Human Resources and Payroll functions, focusing on investigating and troubleshooting existing SAP systems. The ideal candidate is a technical business analyst with a development background and familiarity with the SAP SuccessFactors suite.
Key Responsibilities
- System Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of existing SAP systems, emphasizing Human Resources and Payroll functions.
- Issue Identification: Identify and pinpoint problem areas within SAP modules to enhance system performance.
- Implementation Expertise: Utilize extensive experience to configure and implement SAP/SuccessFactors, contributing to at least two full life cycle implementations.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages, specifically ABAP and SAPScript, for system customization and enhancement.
- Project Management and Communication: Lead and participate in complex projects, ensuring effective communication with team members across all levels, from technicians to business analysts to management.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP modules for employee and payroll functions (SAP HCM Payroll, SAP Human Resources)
- Extensive experience in configuring and implementing SAP/SuccessFactors, with two full life cycle implementations.
- Proficient in ABAP programming and SAP Script
- Ability to work on complex projects, determining granularity and effectively communicating across all levels.
- Understanding of both technical and business aspects of SAP support for employee and payroll functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and optimizing SAP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, business administration, or a related field.
- Preferred proficiency in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP applications.
- Preferred prior experience with system migrations from legacy applications to SAP as it relates to employee and payroll functions.
- SAP certifications relevant to the role would be a plus.
